The hospitality industry has named Evelyn Taylor of Loews Vanderbilt Hotel and Jessica Currey of Homewood Suites Nashville Downtown as Music City Hitmakers for the months of February and March, respectively, for their outstanding customer service to Nashville visitors. This is Currey's second nomination for the award.
The Music City Hitmakers program recognizes and honors individuals who go above and beyond to provide noteworthy service and ensure an authentic visitor experience. Hitmakers receive a $100 restaurant gift card, a lapel pin that distinguishes them as a Hitmaker, admission for two to area attractions, a certificate of recognition and a video highlight feature on www.visitmusiccity.com/hitmakers.
The industry announced Joe Mack Treas of Hilton Downtown Nashville as the 2011-12 annual Music City Hitmaker winner at the National Travel & Tourism Week Industry Celebration hosted by Mayor Karl Dean and the NCVB on Thursday, May 10. Treas was named Music City Hitmaker for the months of November and January for his excellent Southern hospitality to
Nashville visitors. The 2011-12 monthly Hitmakers were also recognized during the industry luncheon.
